Trust & Privacy
This page is maintained by the King Bee 2026/27 organisers to answer common questions about how the prediction competition handles your account and data. It is editable project content — not an independent certification or audit.
What this app is
King Bee 2026/27 is a private football prediction competition for an invited group of friends. There are no payments, no advertising and no sharing of personal data with third-party marketing services.
Accounts & sign-in
Accounts are created via email and password, or Google sign-in. Passwords are never stored in plain text; authentication is handled by the Lovable Cloud (Supabase Auth) platform.
Each player has a role (predophile or admin). Roles are stored separately from profiles and enforced server-side; admin actions are recorded in an internal audit log.
What data we collect
- Account: email, display name, optional avatar, language and theme preference.
- Predictions you submit, the points they score, and your knockout group membership.
- Standard server logs (request metadata) generated by the hosting platform for reliability and abuse protection.
We do not collect payment information, location data, contacts, or device identifiers beyond what your browser ordinarily sends.
How your data is protected
Your predictions are locked at kickoff and only become visible to other players after kickoff. Database access is controlled by row-level security policies so players can only read and write the data the competition rules allow.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. The handbook PDF is stored in a private bucket and served via short-lived signed URLs.
Hosting & subprocessors
The app runs on the Lovable platform (frontend and serverless functions) and uses Lovable Cloud, which is built on Supabase, for authentication, database, storage and edge functions. Google is used as an optional sign-in provider when you choose it.
We do not transfer competition data to any other third party.
Cookies & tracking
The app uses local storage for your session, language and theme preference. There is no third-party analytics or advertising tracker on the site.
Retention & deletion
Account, profile and prediction data are kept for the duration of the competition and its historical leaderboards. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting an organiser; competition records may be retained in anonymised form so historical results stay consistent.
Contact
For privacy questions, data requests, or to report a security concern, please contact a King Bee 2026/27 organiser directly. Organiser contact details are shared with players in the group.
This page reflects current app practices and may be updated by the organisers as the competition evolves. It is not an independent certification and does not claim compliance with any specific regulatory framework.
